Prior to Arrival |
|
| Requirements: | Oak Haven requires a negative coggins and proof of latest worming and current yearly vaccinations. These should include VEWT, FLU/RHINO, WEST NILE, RABIES AND STRANGLES (if age appropriate). A copy of registration papers is also required. Copies of current AHA and USEF cards are necessary prior to entering any show. |
| Health & Maintenance: | Incoming horses not meeting the above requirements will be vaccinated, wormed and or have coggins drawn immediately. Horses will be placed on Oak Havens schedule for yearly shots and worming. |

Prior to Departure |
|
| All fees must be paid in full prior to departure. Deposits will be returned on the following billing cycle. | |

Breeding Charges |
|
| Mare Care: | $450 per month, $480 with foal |
| Vet Fees: | Cost + % of Call Fee + Handling Fee |
| Insemination: | $100 per insemination. Oak Haven's veterinarian use weekly palps and ultrasound to coordinate transportation of semen and ovulation. |
| Stallion Care: | $600 per month. |
| Stallion Handling Fee: | $300 per live cover mare per season - charged to the stallion owner. |
| Rebreeds: | $200 to mares taken from Oak Haven prior to 30-day pregnancy check. |
| Transported Semen Fees: | $250 collection fee for the first shipment and $100 for each additional shipment per heat cycle - charged to the mare owner. Federal Express charges are not included and will be billed separately. |
| Container Deposit: | Clients intending to use Oak Haven's Equitainer for shipping semen are required to send a separate check of $250 prior to the first shipment. This will cover loss, damage or late return of Equitainer. Checks will be destroyed when container is no longer needed, provided Equitainer is in satisfactory condition and has been returned within 24 hours of receipt, by next day service |
